In that time, Erika and her husband have operated boarding and sales stables, as well as a training and sales stable in Ireland, which focused on training and showing jumpers that were sold to Europe and Middle East. Upon her return to Canada, she continued training and showing jumpers and then directed attention into dressage. Erika now focuses attention on dressage instruction to the FEI level. Erika herself is an FEI level competitor and was Long Listed for the 1994 Pan American Games in Winnipeg before her horse was sold prior to Games.
